Take a few moments to yourself today to rest and relax. The more you can do this in the weeks ahead, the better you'll feel as the week progresses. Try some of these relaxation tips:
Take a warm bath or shower.
Lie down for 5-10 minutes with your eyes closed and listen to music (or white noise).
Practice deep breathing from your diaphragm for 5-10 minutes at a time throughout the day.
Remember that if you don't make time for yourself now, it will become harder and harder as the week goes on!
Surround yourself with water and let it wash your stress away!
Waterfalls are great places to relax and enjoy nature. It can be very relaxing to sit near a waterfall and listen to the sounds of birds chirping, the wind rustling through the trees, and the fresh air flowing all around you.
If you have an opportunity to spend time with yourself, it is important that you take care of your mental and physical health. Make sure to set aside some time today to do something relaxing and calming.
