Music and Theater have always been an integral part of Vanessa Williams’ life. With a passion for theater, Vanessa has studied classical and jazz dance since childhood, and excelled at instruments like the French horn, piano and violin. 

In 1988, Vanessa released her highly anticipated debut album The Right Stuff, which quickly achieved gold status selling in excess of 500,000 copies and scored hits on various charts including the beautiful ballad "Dreamin’ "- which was her very first Top Ten single on the Billboard Hot 100. If that weren’t enough, the album also earned her three Grammy nominations.

Since then, Vanessa has released 8 more albums, achieving significant success in her music career. In fact, her second album, The Comfort Zone, went triple platinum and garnered five Grammy nominations.
