It's all about color this summer!
Summer is a time for color. Light, bright colors have been on the rise recently and will probably continue to be in 2022. If you're looking for a new look, this can be your chance!
Neon Pink
Neon pink is a fun and vibrant color that can be worn for any occasion. It looks great on both pale and olive skin tones, but looks especially good on tanned skin as it brings out the summer glow. Pair this bold color with classic black eyeliner or an edgy red lip for an instantly-glam look!
Coral
Coral is a fun color to use this summer, as it can boost your mood and make you feel more confident. If you have fair skin, coral will give you a sun-kissed glow. If you have darker skin or tan easily, coral will complement the color of your skin beautifully.
Coral looks best on those with medium complexions who want to look like they’ve been spending time in the sun without actually having done so! It’s also perfect for women who want to bring out their eyes by wearing eye shadow that complements their hair color or complexion.
If you're thinking about trying coral makeup for the first time but are worried about how it will look on your skin tone, then check out our guide below for some tips and tricks on how to wear this trend seamlessly!
Purple Smokey Eyes
This is an easy trend to do on yourself. You can start with a light purple color and then build up the intensity from there. What's great about this look is that it can be worn day or night, but keep in mind that if you're going for a nighttime look, make sure your lipstick matches the shade of your eyeshadow! This look is perfect for those who want something soft and romantic looking on their eyes without being too dramatic or harsh looking.
Glossy Lids
Glitter liner
Metallic shadow
Highlighter in the inner corner of the eye
The glossy lid trend is a great way to add dimension and shine to your look! You can use it as a base for any type of eye makeup, from subtle or everyday looks, to bold and dramatic ones. Make sure to blend well so that there are no harsh lines between the shadow and highlighter/glitter liner.
Bold Lashes
Lashes are a classic summer look, but this year they’re taking on an especially bolder vibe. The striking style works well with a cat-eye or smoky eye look, and you can even wear it all on its own. To get the look:
Apply your favorite mascara. Remember that if you want to go for a dramatic lash look, try using multiple coats of mascara and combing through them with an eyelash applicator wand to separate out those false lashes!
Use clear eyelash glue (you can find this in any makeup store) along the bottom edge of each individual false lash strip by putting dots along both sides of where your own lashes will meet at their roots. Press down gently—you don't want to end up with glue everywhere! You'll end up getting used to putting pressure on your fingers instead since there isn't much room for error when using fake lashes—but trust me when I say it's worth it!
Wait until dry before applying any other layers so that everything stays put once complete."
